This Rental Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms and conditions of renting equipment from Caesar’s Chariot Inc. o/a Just Rent One, hereinafter referred to as the “Rental Company.” By using our website and renting equipment, you, hereinafter referred to as the “Renter,” agree to adhere to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1. Rental Items:

The Rental Company agrees to provide camping equipment to the Renter, as specified in the booking and outlined in the booking confirmation. The Renter acknowledges that the equipment details on the website are accurate and the equipment is in good working condition.

2. Rental Period:

The rental period begins on the agreed-upon start date and concludes on the specified end date. The Renter must return the equipment by the agreed-upon time on the last day of the rental period.

3. Rental Fee:

The Renter agrees to pay the total rental fee as displayed on our website upon booking. Payment may be made at the time of booking or through our online payment system.

4. Security Deposit: 

A security deposit if required, will be charged as indicated during the booking process. This deposit will be refunded to the Renter upon the satisfactory return of the equipment, minus any charges for damages or late fees, if applicable. The Rental Company does not provide insurance coverage for the rented equipment.

Please note:

In the event that the equipment is lost or stolen, the Renter will be charged the full replacement cost of the equipment. If the value of the lost or stolen equipment exceeds the security deposit, the Renter will be charged the additional amount on their credit card.If the equipment is damaged and the repair costs exceed the security deposit, the Renter will be charged the additional amount on their credit card.

By agreeing to these terms, the renter explicitly authorizes the Rental Company to charge the credit card on file for any late fees, cleaning fees, missing parts, or structural damage exceeding the security deposit.

5. Care and Responsibility:

The Renter agrees to use the rental equipment with care and follow all safety guidelines provided by the Rental Company. The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period.

6. Late Returns:

As we use a 24 hour rental time system, failure to return the equipment by the agreed-upon time will be considered an additional day and you may be charged for an additional day for your rental products , as specified on our website.

7. Cancellations:

Cancellation by the Renter must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the rental period to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee as indicated on our website.

8. Insurance:

The Rental Company does not provide insurance coverage for the rented equipment. The Renter is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for the rental period if necessary.

9. Indemnification:

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rental Company from any liability, claims, or expenses arising from the Renter’s use of the rental equipment. The renter assumes all risks associated with the operation and use of the equipment, and agrees that the Rental Company is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or accidents resulting from the use of the rented products.

10. Age Limit: The Renter certifies that they are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into this contract.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and shall be interpreted under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

By renting equipment from us, the Renter agrees to these terms and understands their responsibility for the rented equipment.
